Fisheries officers work with fishermen who violate the law.

Upon inspection, it was discovered that two vessels of Mr. Ha Van Quy (Binh Giang commune) and Nguyen Van Be Hai (Rach Gia ward) did not meet the operating conditions and did not have registration numbers. The working group proceeded to draw up an administrative violation report and hand over the vehicles to the local authorities for strict management until all required procedures were completed.

The above activity is part of the peak period of patrolling, inspecting, controlling, handling violations in the fisheries sector and strictly managing fishing vessels in An Giang province, thereby gradually raising awareness of conservation, regeneration of aquatic resources and combating IUU fishing, contributing to the development of responsible, effective and sustainable fisheries, contributing to removing the yellow card warning of the European Commission (EC).
