New personnel of Coast Guard Region 4 Command

(NLDO) - Colonel Dao Ba Viet, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard, was appointed Commander of Coast Guard Region 4.

On the morning of October 31, at Phu Quoc Special Zone ( An Giang province), the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 held a conference to hand over the responsibilities and tasks of the Region Commander.

Major General Le Dinh Cuong, Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard, chaired the handover conference.

Previously, the Prime Minister decided to appoint Major General Tran Van Luong, Commander of Coast Guard Region 4, to hold the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard; the Minister of National Defense decided to appoint Colonel Dao Ba Viet, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard, to hold the position of Commander of Coast Guard Region 4.

In his speech assigning tasks and concluding the conference, Major General Le Dinh Cuong - Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard - requested Major General Tran Van Luong, in his new position, to continue to promote his political mettle, intelligence, capacity, and practical experience, together with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Chief of the Vietnam Coast Guard, to unite, lead, and direct the building of a "revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern" force, successfully completing all assigned tasks.

Major General Tran Van Luong and Colonel Dao Ba Viet exchanged and received the handover minutes.
