Launching the online contest "I love my homeland's sea and islands"

VHO - The Command of Coast Guard Region 2 coordinated with the Department of Education and Training; Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Quang Ngai province and Da Nang city to launch the online contest "I love my homeland's sea and islands", school year 2025 - 2026.

On October 25, the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 coordinated with the Department of Education and Training; Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Quang Ngai province and Da Nang city to launch the online contest "I love my homeland's sea and islands" for the 2025-2026 school year, for students of 92 secondary schools in 19 coastal communes and wards of Quang Ngai province and Da Nang city.

Speaking at the opening of the Contest, Colonel Tran Hong Que, Deputy Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 2 - Head of the Contest Organizing Committee, emphasized that the Contest not only creates a useful and healthy playground for students, but also contributes to arousing their passion for learning and raising awareness of the position and role of the sea and islands in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Colonel Tran Hong Que, Deputy Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 2, spoke at the launch of the Competition.

Thereby fostering love for the homeland and national pride, while raising awareness of civic responsibility for the task of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland right from when still in school.

Regional finals with the participation of teams from 5 provinces and cities: Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai and Gia Lai

According to the plan, the Competition will be held from October 25, 2025 to March 2026 with three rounds: commune and ward level; provincial level and regional final (regional level with the participation of teams from 5 provinces and cities of Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai and Gia Lai).

The contest content is rich, combining direct and online contests with many attractive and familiar contests such as: "Going out to sea", "Crossing the waves", "Arriving at the shore", "Setting sovereignty markers".
