The People's Committee of Gia Vien Ward, Hai Phong City has just issued Decision No. 1674/QD-UBND on the relocation of 124 owners and users of apartments that have not yet been handed over at the old Dong Quoc Binh apartment building.
In order to carry out the site clearance work for the Project of Investment in construction of technical infrastructure to serve the investment projects to renovate old apartment buildings in Dong Quoc Binh (phase 2), recently, Gia Vien Ward People's Committee has focused on propagating and mobilizing the relocation of 1,282 households out of 34 old and dangerously degraded apartment buildings.
However, up to this point, at the 34 apartment buildings above, there are still 124 households who are owners and users of the apartments that have not been relocated.
The Ward People's Committee announced that after December 3, 2025, if households still do not comply with the relocation decision, the Ward People's Committee will issue a decision on enforcement and organize forced relocation according to the provisions of law.
Currently, the ward's working groups have informed and sent Decision No. 1674/QD-UBND to each household; at the same time, propagandized and mobilized people to strictly comply with the relocation and soon hand over the old apartments to serve the implementation of the project to renovate and rebuild the apartment building.
The project to invest in building technical infrastructure to serve the investment projects to renovate the old Dong Quoc Binh apartment building (phase 2) was approved by the City People's Committee in Decision No. 383/QD-UBND in 2023, with a total investment of more than 685.5 billion VND.
The project aims to synchronously renovate technical infrastructure, ensure safety for people living in the old Dong Quoc Binh apartment buildings; at the same time contribute to renovating and renewing the appearance of the city center in a civilized and modern direction.
