According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, early on the morning of November 18, strong cold air affected most of the northern mountainous areas and some places in the Northeast region.

Cold air makes the North still immersed in cold

At Bach Long Vi station, there is strong northeast wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7.

On November 18, cold air continued to affect other places in the Northern region, North Central region, some places in Central Central region, then affect other places in Central Central region and South Central region. On land, strong northeast wind level 3-4, coastal areas strong level 4-5, some places level 6, gusting to level 7.

Due to the influence of the cold air, in the Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An there will be rain, showers and thunderstorms in some places. The Northern and North Central regions will turn cold; the mountainous and midland regions of the North will be very cold, the highlands will be very cold in some places; and the Northern Delta will be very cold in some places.

In the Northern Delta and North Central region, the common temperature is from 12 - 15 degrees Celsius. In the mountainous and midland areas of the North, it is from 9 - 12 degrees Celsius. In the highlands, it is below 5 degrees Celsius in some places.

Hanoi area has rain, showers. Cold weather, some places very cold. Lowest temperature from 12 - 14 degrees Celsius.

In the Gulf of Tonkin, the northeast wind gradually increases to level 7, sometimes level 8, gusting to level 9 - 10; rough seas; waves from 3.0 - 5.0m.

North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone), strong northeast wind level 7 - 8, gust level 9 - 10; waves 4.0 - 6.0m; rough sea.

Day and night of November 18 - 19, North and North Central regions, lowest temperature 12 - 15 degrees Celsius, mountainous and midland areas 9 - 12 degrees Celsius, high mountainous areas in some places below 5 degrees Celsius. Average temperature 14 - 16 degrees Celsius, mountainous and midland areas 13 - 15 degrees Celsius, high mountainous areas in some places below 12 degrees Celsius.
