Tornado injures 4 people, roofs blown off 30 houses in Da Nang

Initial statistics show that the tornado that occurred on the night of November 16 in Huong Tra ward and Chien Dan commune (Da Nang city) injured 4 people, damaged the roofs of more than 30 houses, and felled trees on National Highway 40B, causing traffic disruption.

In Chien Dan commune, the tornado injured 4 people, damaged and blew off roofs of about 20 houses. In Huong Tra ward, the tornado occurred in the residential groups of Hoa Lan, Ngoc Bich, Dong Hanh, causing at least 14 houses to have their roofs blown off and damaged. Localities are having to temporarily cut off electricity to fix power lines affected by fallen trees and flying corrugated iron.
