Basically completed preparations for the 1st Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province

On the afternoon of November 17, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province held the 2nd Conference (the last meeting of the 2024 - 2029 term) to give opinions on contents related to the documents submitted to the 1st Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030.

The Conference was chaired by comrades: Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Pham Trieu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Ha Thi Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee attended the Conference.

According to the report at the Conference, in the past time, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has focused on doing a good job of preparing for the Congress, from document content, personnel, propaganda to organizational conditions; ensuring urgency and on schedule.

Since the beginning of November, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province has completed the Congress documents, reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for comments and approval of the documents to organize the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030. Up to now, all preparations for the Congress have been basically completed.

Accordingly, the Political Report presented to the Congress identified the theme: Promoting the strength of great national unity; strengthening democracy and social consensus; arousing confidence and aspiration for innovation, building Lam Dong province to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a dynamic growth pole in the era of national growth.
The motto of action for the 2025 - 2030 term is: Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Consensus - Development.

Regarding personnel work, the Conference agreed to elect 120 members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the new term. The Congress will have 600 delegates attending, including 400 official delegates and 200 invited delegates.

The congress is scheduled to be held on November 24 and 25, at the Provincial Labor Culture House Hall (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat).

The Standing Committee has prepared a plan for accommodation and meals for delegates; developed a 1.5-day working program, a script for the meeting, and drafted speeches. The Congress Presidium is expected to consist of 11 members; the Secretary will consist of 2 members.

Delegates contribute opinions at the Conference

At the Conference, delegates exchanged, discussed and proposed to complete a number of contents, including continuing to review and specify development targets for the new term.

At the same time, promote propaganda work so that people can grasp and create an exciting atmosphere towards the important political event of the province.

The delegates also agreed on the entire dossier of the 1st Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025 - 2030. This is the basis for printing documents, issuing invitations, summoning delegates and implementing the final steps before the Congress takes place.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Pham Thi Phuc acknowledged and accepted the opinions of the delegates.

In her closing speech at the Conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong Province Pham Thi Phuc acknowledged the delegates' comments and emphasized that the Standing Committee will continue to edit and complete the dossier; review the remaining tasks to ensure the solemn and successful organization of the Congress, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the Front system in the new period.
