At the meeting, delegates voted to dismiss Mr. Vo Trong Hai from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province for the 18th term of 2021 - 2026 to take on a new job assignment.

The People's Council of Ha Tinh province introduced and elected Mr. Phan Thien Dinh - Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term, to hold the position of Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term with 100% of the votes.

Also at the meeting, the People's Council of Ha Tinh province dismissed Mr. Tran Tu Anh from the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Tinh province, term XVIII, term 2021 - 2026 due to job transfer.

100% of delegates elected Mr. Duong Tat Thang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, former Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee - as Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Tinh province.

Previously, on the afternoon of November 17, the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on transferring and appointing Mr. Phan Thien Dinh to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Phan Thien Dinh was born on December 10, 1971, in Thuan An ward, Hue city. He has a master's degree in public administration, a bachelor's degree in economics, a bachelor's degree in law, and a high level of political theory.

Mr. Dinh held many important positions in the former Thua Thien Hue province and now Hue city such as: Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Thua Thien Hue province, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee (under the former Thua Thien Hue province), Secretary of the Thuan Hoa District Party Committee, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Hue City People's Council.

On October 3, at the 17th Hue City Party Congress, Mr. Dinh was elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

On October 17, at the 27th thematic session, term VIII, term 2021 - 2026 of the People's Council of Hue city, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh was elected by delegates to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue city.
