Mr. Phan Thien Dinh was elected Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province.

At the 33rd session of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Council, 18th term (2021-2026), held this morning, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, was elected Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, delegates voted to relieve Mr. Vo Trong Hai from his position as Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province for the 18th term (2021-2026) to take on a new assignment.

The People's Council of Ha Tinh province nominated and elected Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, to the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province for the 2021-2026 term with 100% of the votes.

Also at the session, the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Council dismissed Mr. Tran Tu Anh from the position of Vice Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Council, 18th term, 2021-2026, due to a transfer of work.

100% of the delegates voted for Mr. Duong Tat Thang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee of Ha Tinh Province - to be elected as Vice Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Council.

Earlier, on the afternoon of November 17, the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Phan Thien Dinh to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Phan Thien Dinh was born on December 10, 1971, in Thuan An Ward, Hue City. He holds a Master's degree in Public Administration, a Bachelor's degree in Economics, a Bachelor's degree in Law, and an advanced level of political theory.

Mr. Dinh held many important positions in the former Thua Thien Hue province and now Hue city, such as: Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Thua Thien Hue province, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee (under the former Thua Thien Hue province), Secretary of the Thuan Hoa District Party Committee, and Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the Hue City People's Council.

On October 3rd, at the 17th Congress of the Hue City Party Committee, Mr. Dinh was elected to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

On October 17th, at the 27th special session of the 8th term (2021-2026) of the Hue City People's Council, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh was elected by the delegates to the position of Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee.
