Aespa celebrates 5th anniversary of debut, releases 4 solo songs

On the occasion of their 5th debut anniversary, Aespa 'treated' fans with 4 solo songs by the members, which the group performed at a concert in August.

On November 17, Aespa officially released Aespa 2025 Special Digital Single - SYNK: Axis Line , which includes audio for solo songs by Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning, which were performed at the group's 3rd concert in August.

Each song is composed and written by the members themselves, expressing their own unique musical personalities.

These solo songs are like a colorful musical picture, leading listeners to explore each person's different soul and personality.

Winter's song Blue takes listeners into a gentle, soulful pop-rock world , skillfully highlighting her soft yet emotional voice.

Ningning captivates with Ketchup & Lemonade , a romantic R&B song with a hint of sadness. Giselle brings a fresh feeling through Tornado . Karina is full of confidence and strong energy in Good Stuff , a vibrant hip-hop dance song.

This is not the first time Aespa has had a strategy of releasing separate songs for each member.

Previously, the solo songs performed in the group's second concert such as Up (Karina), Dopamine (Giselle), Bored! (Ningning), Spark (Winter) all reached number 1 on music charts.

Aespa debuted on November 17, 2020 with the powerful debut song Black Mamba , famous for their "metaverse girl group" style and are typical representatives of K-pop Gen 4.

Since joining the K-pop race, the group has continuously created storms with songs like Next Level, Savage, Girls, Supernova, Armageddon, Whiplash or Rich Man , affirming their position as one of the top K-pop groups.

Currently, Aespa is on their third world tour called Aespa Live Tour - SYNK: Axis Line 2025. On November 16, the group had a successful performance in Bangkok (Thailand) but was suddenly without Winter due to the flu.

"After the performance the day before, Winter went to the hospital and was diagnosed with cold and flu symptoms. Based on the doctor's recommendation, we judged that it will be difficult for Winter to participate in the scheduled soundcheck and concert," SM Entertainment said in a statement before the concert.
