On the evening of October 30, the Korea Spotlight 2025 in Vietnam music night took place at Capital Theatre, Ho Chi Minh City. The event brought together famous Korean artists including BTOB, DPR CREAM & DPR ARTIC, ARrC and Dragon Pony.
Among them, BTOB - a once-famous K-pop group - returned to Vietnam after 7 years, making many audiences excited.
BTOB was happy when the audience sang along.
BTOB came to Vietnam in 2018 at a music festival in Hanoi . They are a veteran group loved for their emotional vocals and powerful performance.
A "specialty" at Vietnamese concerts that often surprises Korean artists is that the audience sings along with the artists a lot. Many Vietnamese fans often joke that they "buy tickets to sing for their idols". Recently, many K-pop artists have enjoyed the experience of listening to Vietnamese fans sing their songs in unison, and BTOB is no exception.

"Hello, we are BTOB" - the group said and brought to Vietnam a series of songs including Only one for me, Love today, Beautiful pain, Say yes say yes, I miss you. The members also learned their own Vietnamese greetings to introduce to the audience. They said: "Em yêu", "Anh yêu em mai mai".
The group expressed: "It's been 7 years since we've been back to Vietnam. Wow! It's been a long time." The audience shouted in unison: "Concert, concert!". Hearing that, BTOB promised: "We will definitely come back to Vietnam. Today we'll try a concert first."

The members also made the audience laugh when they tried to communicate in English. They initiated the audience to sing along, creating a beautiful moment between the idols and fans.
Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online, a female audience member named Ha and her twin sister flew from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City to meet BTOB. She said that the two sisters had traveled abroad 5 times to see their idols perform in Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Thailand...

The show also featured ARrC, a multinational K-pop group that is gradually becoming a generation Z idol. The group has a member named Kien, who is Vietnamese, born in 2004 and comes from Ninh Thuan . The group stirred up the stage with a part of the song "Co Chac Yeu La Day" by Son Tung M-TP, along with a series of songs " Awesome", "Dawns", "Nukidz", "Dummy", "Vitamin"...
Artist duo DPR CREAM and DPR ARTIC are known for their cinematic musical style and unique genre blends, while Dragon Pony is an indie-pop band loved for their explosive energy and signature rock-infused sound.

This year, the Korea Spotlight 2025 event in Vietnam is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea (MCST) and organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), to honor music as an emotional and cultural connection between the two countries.
"We are excited to see music continue to act as a strong bridge between Vietnam and Korea. Korea Spotlight 2025 is an opportunity for us to spread creative energy and create memorable performance moments," said a KOCCA representative.
