On the morning of November 1, the People's Public Security Trade Union faced Khanh Hoa Trade Union in the final match of Group A, the Final Round of the Vietnam Civil Servants Football Tournament 2025 (VCK).
Both teams have suffered two previous defeats and have no chance of qualifying for the knockout round.
Although it was just a formality, with the spirit of "martial arts", the confrontation between the two teams still took place with a dramatic and attractive atmosphere.
In the first half, the Northern Qualifying champion played better and scored 2 goals to lead Khanh Hoa Trade Union.
Difficulties piled on top of difficulties when Duong Manh Dat scored a goal to widen the gap to 3-0 for the representative of the People's Public Security sector right at the beginning of the second half.
Just a few minutes later, Tu Huy and Van Loan rekindled hope for the Central representative when they scored to shorten the score to 2-3.
In the match, when they were behind 4-2, Khanh Hoa Trade Union implemented the "Power Play" style of play by letting former Vietnam futsal goalkeeper, Nguyen Dinh Y Hoa, advance. The Central representative had to pay a heavy price for this tactic.
After catching the ball, goalkeeper Pham Thanh Tung (People's Police Union) quickly observed and executed an accurate long-range shot. From a distance of 50m, the ball rolled from the air and went straight into the goal, leaving Khanh Hoan's players helpless.

The unforgettable day of the former futsal player did not end there. After conceding a goal from the opposing goalkeeper, Nguyen Dinh Y Hoa received a straight red card for handling the ball outside the penalty area in the final minutes of the match.
In the end, the Public Security Trade Union won 6-2 against Khanh Hoa Trade Union. Thanks to his impressive performance, goalkeeper Pham Thanh Tung won the title of “best player of the match” and became the first goalkeeper to score a goal in the finals.
The Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament is jointly organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and the Vietnam Football Federation for the third consecutive year. Entering the 2025 season, the tournament has affirmed its position as an annual, prestigious playground for workers, civil servants, and laborers across the country; contributing to promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports , improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants, and laborers in particular and the whole society in general.
This year's tournament is honored to receive the support of Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (THACO), Dong Luc Sports Group, HTP Pharmaceutical Investment Joint Stock Company, Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company, Sunshine Group, Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO), Fashion Connection Joint Stock Company (Faslink), 108 Central Military Hospital, 175 Military Hospital and a number of enterprises.
The final round of the Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament 2025 took place from October 31 to November 2 in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 16 teams that had successfully passed the qualifying round.
