In the bulletin issued on the afternoon of November 1, the Central Hydrometeorological Station said that the water level of the Vu Gia - Thu Bon River at measuring stations along the river is at alert level 1 and alert level 2.
Compared with the flood peak a day ago, the flood water has receded a lot.
However, it is forecasted that tonight and tomorrow the water level of Vu Gia - Thu Bon River will rise again to alert level 2 and alert level 3. Han River will be at alert level 1 and alert level 2.
In Hoi An, at 7pm tonight the water level will rise to 1.5m - equivalent to alert level 2. By 7am on November 2nd the flood water will rise to 1.75m - 25cm above alert level 2.

From today until November 4, the flood on Tam Ky river is likely to rise again, the flood peak will fluctuate around alert level 2 to alert level 3.
The Central Hydrometeorological Station warns of the risk of flooding in low-lying areas, riverside areas, urban flooding, flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas.
Based on the hydrometeorological forecast, since the afternoon of November 1, many wards and communes along the Vu Gia - Thu Bon river have informed people about the flood situation and advised them not to lower their belongings from high places until the flood rises again in the coming days.
According to Tuoi Tre Online reporters in flooded areas of Dien Ban, An Thang, Hoi An wards... on the afternoon of November 1, some low-lying areas showed signs of flood water rising again.
After many days of being exhausted from running away from the flood, people returned home to clean up the mud, but now they are exhausted with the water rising again in some places.
