On November 4, the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies on the appointment of members to the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and Party Secretary of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

At the conference, the decision on appointing Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate, to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Party Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

Presenting the decision and giving a speech assigning tasks to Mr. Quang, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu said that the Politburo decided that Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, would cease to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Standing Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate.

Mobilize, assign, and introduce candidates for election to the National Assembly to hold the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and appoint the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court.

Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu congratulated Mr. Nguyen Van Quang on his new responsibility. At the same time, he asked him to continue to promote his experience, capacity, and strengths, and join the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court in working together to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

He expressed his deep confidence that the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court and Mr. Nguyen Van Quang personally will uphold the spirit of responsibility and excellently complete the assigned tasks.

In his speech accepting the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang affirmed that he would be united, serious, determined, and resolute in innovating in implementing the Party's policies and guidelines in Party building work, associated with the work of building the sector and performing the political tasks of the people's court sector, especially the directions of General Secretary To Lam at the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the people's court sector and successfully implement the resolution of the congress of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang was born in 1969, from Hai Phong city, has a doctorate in law and a senior degree in political theory.

Growing up as an officer and investigator of the Criminal Investigation Department, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang has many years of working experience in the prosecution industry.

During his career, he held positions such as: Chief Prosecutor of Le Chan District People's Procuracy, Deputy Chief Prosecutor and then Chief Prosecutor of Hai Phong City People's Procuracy; Head of the Department of Procuracy for Settlement of Civil Cases (Supreme People's Procuracy).

By June 2015, he was a senior prosecutor, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy in Ho Chi Minh City. After 2 years, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang assumed the position of Head of the Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Economic Cases (Supreme People's Procuracy). In September 2018, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang assumed the position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

In December 2019, the Secretariat assigned him to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, holding the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.

After a year, in October 2020, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang was elected Secretary of the 22nd Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

In early September 2025, he was appointed to the position of Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate.
