Nam Dinh Club confident against Japanese team in the second leg of the group stage of the Asian Cup C2

On the afternoon of November 4, assistant Andre Lima and center-back Lucas Alves of Nam Dinh club attended a press conference before the match against Gamba Osaka in the group stage of the AFC Champions League Two 2025-2026.

Sharing about the preparation for the match, assistant coach Andre Lima said: "This is a difficult match. We know Gamba Osaka is very strong, they are candidates for the ticket to the next round in this group. But tomorrow's match, we will play well. Nam Dinh has prepared carefully over the past week, trained hard and enthusiastically. We are confident that the whole team will have the best match.

Recently, we have been short of players due to injuries and illness, but in AFC Champions League Two, we can use more foreign players. I cannot reveal the registration list yet, but Nam Dinh will definitely have a stable force, take advantage of home field advantage and have the best results."

Center-back Lucas Alves also affirmed his determination: "The team's goal is always to win. When competing internationally, playing at home is an advantage, we will try to convert that advantage into good results.

We understand that the whole team is going through a difficult time. The more we are in this situation, the more we try and be determined. We train hard, make an effort, and overcome the difficulties together.

The first leg away match did not yield satisfactory results. However, we have learned from our experience and adjusted our training. We believe we will have a better performance tomorrow."

The match between Nam Dinh and Gamba Osaka takes place at 7:15 p.m. tomorrow (November 5) at Thien Truong Stadium.
