Hanoi Trade Union is the first football team to arrive in Ho Chi Minh City to participate in the final round of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2025 taking place this weekend.

Late on October 28, the entire coaching staff and players of Hanoi Trade Union took a flight from the capital to Tan Son Nhat Airport (HCMC) to prepare for the final round of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.

Although the tournament will not take place until October 31, the whole team decided to fly early to have the best preparation. Therefore, despite the late flight time, the Hanoi Trade Union players all shared the same excited spirit and bright, eager smiles.

Sharing as soon as he arrived at the airport, Mr. Nguyen Duy Truong - captain of Hanoi Trade Union - happily said: "First of all, I would like to thank the organizing committee for their warm welcome, not minding the long distance to welcome the Hanoi Trade Union team.

The team is in good spirits and determined to compete to achieve the best possible results. In addition to the goal of winning, this is also an opportunity for the team to learn and interact with all the other teams."

Talking about the team's plan, Mr. Truong said that because they are wearing the uniform of a sanitary ware manufacturing company, on the morning of October 29, the whole team will visit the company's showroom. After that, the team will have an afternoon off and on the morning of October 30, they will have a practice session to get familiar with the field.

In the group stage, Hanoi Trade Union is in group D with opponents such as Vietnam Bank Trade Union, Da Nang Trade Union and An Giang Trade Union.

The Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament is jointly organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and Vietnam Football Federation for the third consecutive year.

Entering the 2025 season, the tournament has affirmed its position as an annual, prestigious playground for workers, civil servants, and laborers across the country; contributing to promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports, improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants, and laborers in particular and the whole society in general.

This year's tournament is honored to receive the support of Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (THACO), Dong Luc Sports Group, HTP Pharmaceutical Investment Joint Stock Company, Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company, Sunshine Group, Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO), Fashion Connection Joint Stock Company (Faslink), 108 Central Military Hospital, 175 Military Hospital and a number of enterprises.

The final round of the Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament 2025 will take place from October 31 to November 2 in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 16 teams that have successfully passed the qualifying round.
