On November 1, the Standing Office of the Command for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control under the Civil Defense Command of Ha Tinh province had a preliminary report on the situation of floods and rains in the locality that occurred in recent days.
Due to the influence of cold air combined with high altitude easterly winds, from the night of October 29 to the morning of November 1, there will be rain in the area, especially in the southern coastal plains, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places.
Rainfall at automatic rain gauge stations from 5pm on October 29 to 3pm on November 1 was generally between 400mm and 900mm. Ke Go Lake water level rose to 32.17/32.5m, reaching 96.17% of design; Song Rac Lake 22.74/23.2m, reaching 94.38% of design; Ngan Truoi Lake 45.623m/52m, reaching 67.99% of design.
The reservoirs operating spillway include: Ke Go reservoir 550 m 3 /s; Song Rac reservoir 400 m 3 /s; Kim Son reservoir 37 m 3 /s; Thuong Song Tri reservoir 100 m 3 /s; Tau Voi reservoir 10 m 3 /s; Khe Xai reservoir 30 m 3 /s; Boc Nguyen reservoir 20 m 3 /s; Da Han reservoir 85 m 3 /s.

To proactively respond to the flood situation, localities in Ha Tinh have evacuated more than 4,000 people to safety.
The localities with the most evacuated people are Vung Ang ward with 184 households/484 people; Ky Lac commune with 98 households/143 people; Ky Van commune with 317 households/991 people; Cam Due with 790 households/1,395 people; Cam Binh with 150 households/600 people; Huong Do with 48 households/62 people...
As of this afternoon, the entire Ha Tinh province has nearly 4,300 flooded households, including 25 households in Ky Anh commune; 500 households in Vung Ang ward; 34 households in Hoanh Son ward; 487 households in Cam Binh, 3 households in Ky Khang commune; 2,950 households in Cam Xuyen, 227 households in Huong Pho; 25 households in Huong Do; 41 households in Huong Do.
