In recent days, prolonged heavy rains have caused severe flooding in many areas of central Vietnam, resulting in significant loss of life and property.

Following the directives of the Party Committee and the Naval Command, units under the Command of Region 2, Region 3, and Brigade 83... have promptly deployed forces and resources to support the people.

With the spirit of "Helping the people as if they were our own family," and "Helping the people is a command from the heart," officers, soldiers, youth union members, and women's association members of the units have demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, undeterred by difficulties and dangers; actively coordinating with the government and local forces to rescue, supply food and medicine, and evacuate people to safe areas, contributing to minimizing damage and ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Commander of the Naval Command acknowledged and commended the dedication and noble deeds of the forces directly involved in the mission, especially the officers and soldiers of the 3rd Regional Command, Brigade 83, and Brigade 681 (Region 2). The image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Naval soldiers" has left a deep impression on the people in the flood-affected areas.
Given the forecast of continued complex weather developments, the Party Committee and the Command of the Navy require all units to continue to thoroughly implement the "four on-the-spot" principle, make meticulous preparations in all aspects, and consider rescuing people as a "combat mission in peacetime." Units need to proactively monitor the situation, promptly support localities in overcoming the consequences of floods and heavy rains, help people stabilize their lives as soon as possible, and continue to spread the noble qualities of Navy soldiers in the new era.
