Phuoc Son 110kV transformer station is the power source serving the mountainous area west of Da Nang city including the communes of Kham Duc, Phuoc Nang, Phuoc Chanh, Phuoc Hiep, Phuoc Thanh.

Previously, as reported by Tuoi Tre Online , due to the impact of heavy rain lasting for many days, a landslide occurred in the mountainous commune of Phuoc Hiep, causing pole No. 33 to fall and breaking the conductors and optical cables of the 110kV line of the Dak Mi 4B - Phuoc Son Hydropower Plant connecting to the 110kV Phuoc Son transformer station.

This incident caused most of the mountainous communes of Phuoc Son district (old) to lose power since October 28.

Due to traffic disruption, it was not until the morning of October 31 that this area could be accessed and the 110kV pole collapse incident could be handled.

Da Nang Electricity said that there are still some areas where power supply has not been restored, mainly in isolated and flooded areas with difficult access such as: Tra Leng, Tra Giap, Nam Tra My, Hung Son, Ha Nha, Nong Son communes...
