Electricity industry proactively responds to storm No. 13

Dak Lak Electricity Company has just issued a document directing its affiliated units to quickly deploy solutions to respond to storm No. 13, in order to minimize damage, promptly fix problems, and ensure the fastest restoration of power supply to customers.

Accordingly, from November 5, Dak Lak Power Company will establish a forward command post at facility 2 (Eastern region) to direct the response and damage recovery of storm No. 13; assign forces to be on duty, closely monitor the storm's developments; strictly implement the instructions of superiors and localities.

The subordinate power management teams have increased the clearing of the corridor, coordinated with local authorities to support the cutting and trimming of trees outside the corridor that are at risk of falling and causing grid incidents; organized inspections of vulnerable points, and reinforced vulnerable locations at risk of falling, collapsing electric poles, landslides, and flooding.

Units prepare resources, equipment, means, supplies, and necessities to be ready to respond to and overcome the consequences of storm No. 13; proactively coordinate with functional agencies and localities to be ready to respond to and overcome the consequences of the storm and strengthen propaganda on safe electricity use among the people.

24 internal disaster prevention shock teams of affiliated units are ready to handle incidents at the unit and reinforce within the company. The Planning - Materials Department is ready to provide and bring storm recovery equipment and supplies to the Eastern supply warehouse.
