
According to EVNCPC, there are still 11,512 customers (0.23%) in areas with deep flooding, landslides and traffic disruptions that cannot be reached. EVNCPC maintains 24/7 duty, deploys on-site forces, and waits for safe conditions to turn on the power as soon as possible.
During the flood, the medium voltage grid recorded 600 incidents; to date, 572 incidents have been resolved. 235 distribution transformer stations (0.41%), equivalent to about 3.9MW of capacity (0.11% of peak load) are still being repaired.

In Quang Tri , 12/13 incidents have been restored, with 840 customers remaining, mainly in Quang Trach, Ba Don and Trung Thuan. In Hue city, 244/245 incidents have been resolved, with 245 customers remaining in Thuan Hoa ward due to the area still being flooded.
In Quang Ngai province, 27/31 incidents have been restored, with 280 customers remaining in some mountainous communes of Son Tay - Tay Tra. In Da Nang city alone, 289/311 incidents have been restored, with 10,147 customers remaining in flooded and mountainous areas such as: Nam Phuoc, Nong Son, Tay Giang, Nam Tra My, Tra Giap...
EVNCPC General Director Ngo Tan Cu said that units are "taking advantage of every last hour" to check equipment, handle problems and replace damaged materials.
“The power grid has basically stabilized. We are striving to complete the restoration by November 2, except for locations that are not yet safe or where traffic is not yet clear. As soon as conditions allow, the electricity industry will immediately implement the restoration,” said Mr. Cu.
