Da Nang activates more than 1.59 million electronic identification accounts

DNO - By October 2025, Da Nang city will have received more than 1.69 million applications for level 2 electronic identification accounts and activated more than 1.59 million accounts.

The City People's Committee has just reported the results of implementing the Government 's Project 06 on developing population data applications, electronic identification and authentication to serve national digital transformation by October 2025; at the same time, it set out tasks in November to continue promoting digital transformation, reforming administrative procedures and ensuring data security.

According to the report, for the group of utilities serving administrative procedure settlement and public service provision, Da Nang received more than 150,800 records; of which 113,768 were online (accounting for more than 75%), and more than 99,500 records were resolved on time, demonstrating an increasing rate of online public service usage.

In the group of utilities serving socio-economic development, the city has strengthened guidance for accommodation establishments to deploy the ASM accommodation management platform. To date, 1,424/3,883 establishments have registered copyrights (reaching 63%).

For the group serving digital citizen development, the city has integrated more than 725,000 health insurance cards into the VNeID application (reaching nearly 25% of the permanent population); received 1,693,813 applications for level 2 electronic identification accounts, activated 1,592,912 accounts, facilitating the implementation of online public services.

The city pays attention to ensuring network safety and security, directing it resolutely and promptly handling network security issues related to Project 06 in the city.

In November, Da Nang focused on promoting the 90-day campaign of "enriching and cleaning up population data"; guiding people to activate level 2 identification accounts and integrating health insurance into VNeID.

At the same time, strengthen inspection and supervision of the provision of online public services, increase the rate of files processed completely online; complete digital infrastructure, ensure information security and network security, especially in the city's key systems.
