According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Director of Danang University, as of November 3, more than 800 students of the unit were affected and their families suffered losses due to floods. The school has directed its affiliated units to compile statistics and review to implement support and scholarship policies to ensure fairness and objectivity.
Schools, units, and student affairs departments of the University of Danang are monitoring the situation, reporting and advising on supporting tuition fee payment extensions for students in difficulty; mobilizing non-budgetary resources to award scholarships to students affected by natural disasters and floods.

Recognizing and appreciating the initiative of Danang University, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong sent his regards and encouragement to lecturers, students and trainees in Danang.
The Deputy Minister also requested the University of Danang to consider postponing, extending, or even reducing tuition fees for students affected by rain and floods. At the same time, he suggested that schools and units have more forms of timely and flexible support, suitable for each situation and subject, in the spirit of not letting any student stop studying due to difficult circumstances after natural disasters.
On this occasion, the Deputy Minister presented 200 million VND in aid to Da Nang University to support students severely affected by floods.
