November is on fire with 2 national student basketball and football tournaments, TV360 cup

The two biggest student sports tournaments of the year - the 2025 national student basketball tournament - TV360 Cup and the 2025 national men's football tournament - TV360 Cup - will take place in November at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Both are part of the national student sports tournament system (NUC).

Hundreds of students from the North, Central and South regions will gather at Hanoi University of Science and Technology to compete in the two biggest student sports tournaments of the year. The tournaments are part of the NUC system, chaired by the Ministry of Education and Training , in coordination with the Vietnam University and Professional Sports Association, Viet Content and Digital Trading Joint Stock Company (Vietcontent) and TV360 entertainment television application under Viettel Telecom Corporation - the title sponsor.

In addition, the tournament also has the cooperation of the following schools: Dong Thap University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports, Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Max Sports Entertainment Joint Stock Company (MSE) - the accompanying unit in basketball.

Spreading the spirit of school sports

The award system aims to celebrate 80 years of tradition in Vietnam's education sector (1945-2025), while encouraging the movement of "physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho" among students nationwide.

The qualifying rounds of the two tournaments attracted 230 teams from more than 160 universities, academies and colleges, competing in 355 matches at 8 locations in 3 regions: North - Central - South.

In basketball, 161 teams (113 men's teams, 48 ​​women's teams) competed in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City - the highest number since the NUC system was established in 2022. In football, 69 teams competed in 3 regions, with 5 groups in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Hue, Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Thap.

In Thai Nguyen, despite being affected by floods, teams still competed with all their might. Meanwhile, in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, stadiums were always packed with student spectators, showing the growing appeal of school sports.

Two consecutive finals in Hanoi

The final round of the 2025 National Student Basketball Tournament - TV360 Cup will take place from November 6 to 14, 2025, gathering the 14 best teams. Next is the final round of the 2025 National Student Men's Football Tournament - TV360 Cup, from November 18 to 29, 2025, with 16 teams representing the regions and the host team, Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

The total prize value of this year's system is nearly 600 million VND, for groups and individuals with high achievements.

The Vietnam Basketball Federation and the Hanoi Football Federation are in charge of professional work, coordinating with local host schools.
