Storm No. 13 is 450km from Quy Nhon ( Gia Lai ), maintaining wind speed at level 14, gusting to level 17.
At 4:00 a.m. on November 6, the center of storm No. 13 was at about 13.3 degrees North latitude; 113.3 degrees East longitude, about 450km East Southeast of Quy Nhon (Gia Lai). The strongest wind near the center of the storm reached level 14 (150 - 166 km/h), gusting to level 17, the storm moved in a West Northwest direction at a speed of about 30km/h.
It is forecasted that by 4 p.m. on November 6, the storm will be near the offshore area, about 120km east of Quy Nhon, maintaining a level 14 intensity, gusting to level 17. By the evening of November 6 and the morning of November 7, the storm is likely to enter the area from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak , then gradually weaken.
Quang Ngai sea area, including Ly Son special zone, is forecast to have winds gradually increasing to level 6 - 7, then increasing to level 10 - 11, gusting to level 13 - 14; waves 4 - 8m high, rough seas. Coastal areas may experience a 0.4 - 0.8m surge, with a risk of flooding low-lying areas, waves overtopping dikes and coastal erosion.
From November 6 to 7, Quang Ngai is likely to experience very heavy to extremely heavy rain, warning of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and widespread flooding.

On the morning of November 6, Duc Lam Pagoda, Long Phung Commune (Quang Ngai Province) opened its doors to welcome people in the surrounding area to take shelter from storm No. 13. Venerable Thich Hanh Nhan, abbot of Duc Lam Pagoda, shared that according to information from the meteorological agency, storm No. 13 is moving quickly towards the mainland and is forecast to cause heavy rain and strong winds. Duc Lam Pagoda is located in the old Duc Loi Commune, a coastal area.

Previously, yesterday, Mr. Lam Quang Binh (44 years old), owner of the Chuong Electronics store at Thi Pho intersection, Mo Cay commune, (Quang Ngai province) shared information about opening the store to welcome people to take shelter from the storm.

Due to the complicated developments of storm No. 13, Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Ngoc Thai requested that educational institutions in the province let students stay home from school from this morning (November 6).
