
The City People's Committee decided to disburse more than 6.6 billion VND from the Da Nang City Natural Disaster Prevention Fund to the Department of Construction to implement congestion handling and ensure traffic safety for road works affected by recent storms and floods.
The Department of Construction is responsible for managing and using the support funds from the Da Nang City Natural Disaster Prevention Fund for the right purposes, effectively and economically. Fully implement the documents and procedures for payment and settlement of funds in accordance with regulations.

Preliminary statistics from the Department of Construction show that the floods caused by storm No. 12 from October 23 to noon on November 3 caused nearly VND196 billion in damage to the city's road and inland waterway infrastructure under its management. Of which, the damage to national highways 40B, 14G, 14D, 24C, 14B, 14H (not including national highway 14E handed over to the investor of the renovation and upgrading project) accounted for more than VND82.8 billion.
The preliminary damage on provincial roads is more than 111,249 billion VND. Of this, the cost to repair route DT615 is estimated at more than 18 billion VND to cover the subsidence of the positive slope, especially to rebuild Ong Hoi bridge which was severely damaged and unsafe. The damage to route DT606 requires more than 18 billion VND to repair; route DT601 accounts for 14.77 billion VND (not including the cost to repair from km33+900 to the end of the route).
