Domestic coffee prices turn down after a sharp increase

The average price in the Central Highlands region fluctuated around 118,000 VND/kg, down about 400 VND/kg compared to the previous session.

World coffee prices change slightly due to low inventories

On the London exchange (ICE Futures Europe), Robusta prices fluctuated between 4,473 - 4,681 USD/ton.

November 2025 term: 4,653 USD/ton

January 2026: 4,681 USD/ton

March 2026: 4,611 USD/ton

On the New York floor (ICE Futures US), Arabica prices remained in the range of 342.00 - 409.25 cents/lb.

December 2025 futures: 409.25 cents/lb

March 2026: 385.35 cents/lb

Global coffee prices are stable due to low inventories at major exchanges and continued roasting demand from Europe. The Brazilian Real has remained stable against the USD, helping to limit strong fluctuations in the international market.

Comments and forecasts on future coffee price trends

In the short term, domestic coffee prices are forecast to fluctuate around 117,500 - 119,500 VND/kg, depending on harvest progress and dealer supply capacity.

If favorable weather conditions help harvest output increase rapidly, prices may continue to adjust slightly. However, low inventories on international exchanges and high export demand remain the main support factors, helping prices maintain a stable base in highland areas.

Coffee growers need to pay attention to drying coffee according to standards and avoid selling it prematurely when the humidity is not up to standard to maximize profits. Exporters should closely monitor the difference (basis) between the domestic market and the London exchange to set flexible prices, in accordance with the year-end delivery plan.
