
The training course was organized in both in-person and online formats, with the participation of more than 95 trainees who were members of the professional guidance team, CDC Da Nang staff and medical centers in the city.
This is a regularly organized activity to consolidate knowledge, update skills and improve professional capacity for medical staff in water treatment, environmental sanitation and disease prevention and control after natural disasters.
The training content focuses on key topics, including: preparation work before the flood season; treatment of drinking water, environmental sanitation during and after floods; instructions on mixing Cloramin B to disinfect water wells; use of chemicals to prevent and control epidemics after floods.
Through this training course, trainees are equipped with more knowledge and skills to safely and effectively use water treatment chemicals; helping grassroots health units proactively respond, protect people's health and prevent epidemics after storms.
