FPT joins hands with two Indonesian consulting firms to develop national digital platforms

The tripartite cooperation aims to promote Indonesia's National Digital Transformation program, contributing to building a competitive digital economy through innovation, technology development and comprehensive modernization of key sectors.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Addy Perdana Soemantry – Indonesian Trade Counselor in Hanoi – and leaders ofFPT , LAPI ITB and Digital Utama Lestari.

FPT has just signed a strategic cooperation agreement with LAPI ITB - a technology consulting and solution provider under the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and Digital Utama Lestari (DUL) - a consulting and project management company in Indonesia.

This tripartite cooperation aims to promote Indonesia's National Digital Transformation program, contributing to building a competitive digital economy through innovation, technology development and comprehensive modernization of key sectors. The three parties also expect to reach 100 million USD in revenue within 5 years from providing platforms, solutions and technology services to promote digital transformation of industries and fields in Indonesia.

Based on FPT’s global technology capabilities, LAPI ITB’s research and academic strengths, and DUL’s understanding of the domestic market, the three parties will work together to develop scalable digital platforms, modernize key public systems, and promote the application of advanced technology to accompany Indonesia’s transformation to an innovation-based economy. The areas of cooperation between the three parties include the development of a national digital platform for public services and cooperatives, modernization of the tax and public finance systems, development of smart tourism , and regional digital transformation.

In particular, cooperation also extends to emerging technology areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, cybersecurity, high-performance computing, semiconductors, and digital solutions in agriculture, healthcare, logistics, energy, smart cities, and finance. In addition, cooperation also focuses on human resource development through training programs, certification, and the establishment of joint research centers with leading educational institutions.

FPT plans to open a new office in Bandung, Indonesia’s third largest city, to cooperate with LAPI to promote training and technological innovation in the region. FPT’s efforts aim to contribute to strengthening the national digital infrastructure, promoting innovation and ensuring human resources are available for Indonesia’s digital future.
