More than 54,000 houses in Hue city are still flooded.

On the evening of November 3, in Hue city, the flood on the Perfume River at Kim Long gradually receded, below alert level 3 by 0.07m. The water level on the Bo River at Phu Oc also gradually receded, but was still above alert level 3 by 0.3m.

According to the Hue City Civil Defense Command, by 5 p.m. the same day, more than 54,600 houses in the city were flooded with a depth of 0.5 - 1 meter. Some localities were heavily affected such as the communes and wards of Quang Dien, Phong Dinh, Hoa Chau, Thanh Thuy, Phu Ho... Localities are continuing to review and compile statistics to determine the specific number of affected houses and damage caused by floods in the area.

Currently, there are 38 serious landslides in the entire city. Some of the severe landslides are Khe Tre commune with 17 points at Ka Tu pass, Provincial Road 14B, inter-commune and village roads and along the stream banks; Binh Dien commune has 2 points on National Highway 49; 6 landslides along Ho Chi Minh road; Km23+800 of National Highway 49 from Cham to Tuan bridge has negative slope landslide.

Notably, on the same morning, Rao Trang 4 Hydropower Plant reported that about 10cm of water had flooded the factory floor. Currently, the plant has stopped operations and is taking corrective measures, opening all 3/3 of the valves to regulate water downstream; workers have been evacuated to the safe operation house.
