The Conference on Connecting the Supply Chain of Import, Export and E-Commerce Goods in 2025 has the participation of nearly 150 enterprises from 25 countries and territories.
Promote linkages and expand markets
Promoting linkages and expanding the market is a matter of survival for Tay Ninh enterprises in particular and Vietnam in general in the context of fierce competition and fluctuations in the current global supply chain. In the first 7 months of 2025, the whole country had 144,000 enterprises withdrawing from the market, an increase of 15.1% over the same period, with an average of more than 20,000 enterprises ceasing operations each month, showing that competitive pressure is increasingly fierce.
In this context, the province always stands side by side, listens and creates favorable conditions for enterprises and investors to promote trade, expand cooperation and develop production and business activities. Accordingly, the province has organized the Conference on Connecting the Supply Chain of Import, Export and E-Commerce 3 times. At the 3rd conference alone, there were nearly 150 enterprises from 25 countries and territories, including many large investors and distribution corporations in the world . Here, Tay Ninh signed 8 memorandums of understanding with international partners, opening up new cooperation prospects in the fields of trade, investment and logistics.
Mr. Paul Le - Vice President of Centrail Retail Vietnam Group, said: “Through research, we found that Tay Ninh has many famous specialties, holding key competitive advantages, including dew-dried rice paper, Tay Ninh salt and seedless lemon. Currently, we have 43 domestic and international retail supermarket chains, especially in the French market. Through this conference, we will bring Tay Ninh specialties to sell in supermarket chains. In particular, we have connected with 40 Vietnamese enterprises to France, and on October 11, we introduced Tay Ninh specialties in Paris (France). Introducing products will help French people better understand Tay Ninh products. And we are committed to supporting Tay Ninh enterprises to work with European wholesale markets to research ways to bring products to the market.”
In 2008, Hoang Huy Company Limited (An Luc Long Commune) was established, specializing in the production, processing, drying, treatment, canning, and preservation of vegetables and fruits. This is one of the large enterprises specializing in purchasing agricultural products and exporting, with 15 warehouses storing about 20,000 tons. Currently, the Company's products are exported to markets such as Japan, Korea, Australia, etc. Director of Hoang Huy Company Limited Nguyen Khac Huy shared: "Within the framework of the Conference on Connecting the Supply Chain of Import, Export and E-Commerce Goods in 2025, many foreign enterprises came to survey and work with the company. On this occasion, a number of foreign enterprises raised the issue of long-term cooperation. Therefore, in the coming time, the company will continue to invest in more factories, modern equipment and machinery to meet the requirements of foreign partners, striving to bring products into the supermarket chain system of Korea, Japan, etc. ".

According to a report by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam's logistics costs currently account for 20-25% of product costs, much higher than the global average and reducing competitiveness. Faced with this situation, the business community desires breakthrough infrastructure and supply chain solutions, fast connection with optimal costs, while meeting global standards and practices so that goods can go directly to the world market. And the merged Tay Ninh province is considered a logistics center, with an international gateway position, nearly 369km of border with Cambodia, 4 international border gates and 4 national border gates. In particular, the province is also located at the intersection of the multi-layered logistics corridor connecting the Southeast with Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Long An International Port Vo Quoc Huy shared: “Long An International Port is developed according to the model of Seaport - Industry - Logistics - Urban. The port invests in synchronous infrastructure, modern and environmentally friendly exploitation equipment; Information technology - engineering is given top priority to optimize operational efficiency, contributing to providing comprehensive service solutions at optimal costs. The port holds an important position in the transit of goods from industrial production and agricultural - aquatic areas of the largest raw material region in the country. Thereby, contributing to optimizing costs by shortening delivery and receipt time, minimizing risks, improving competitiveness in the international market and bringing practical added value to enterprises”.
With the available advantages and potentials, recently, Portland Port (Oregon, USA) and Gothenbury Port (Sweden) signed a friendship agreement with Long An International Port. This signing aims to focus on exploiting the potential of seaports, sharing market information, developing maritime shipping routes and supporting global supply chain connections. Mr. Richard Mellgren (Business Development Manager of Gothenbury Port (Sweden) affirmed: “I am very happy and excited to visit Tay Ninh province. I see that this is a locality with a lot of potential, strength and opportunities. Above all, the signing between Gothenbury Port and Long An International Port is an important step forward, creating opportunities for both sides to learn and share experiences with each other, especially expanding the logistics network and maritime trade between Vietnam and Sweden”.
With the determination and efforts of the local government and the shared responsibility of enterprises, Tay Ninh has removed logistics bottlenecks, creating the best conditions for enterprises to develop and attract investors. Thereby, helping enterprises reduce costs, increase product value and expand exports, affirming Tay Ninh's position on the global supply chain map, turning potential into sustainable growth./.
