Gia Linh admitted that she felt pressure from the very first moments she stepped onto the stage. The overwhelming "shadow" of the artists who came before her forced her to work much harder to find her own unique mark in her performance style.
Although her performance wasn't as polished as in rehearsals, the student convinced the judges with her refined technique, the softness of her vocal embellishments, and especially her willingness to challenge herself.
With "Letter from Hanoi ," Gia Linh also moved listeners with her simple, clear, and warm voice.
