The emulation movements have spread widely, affirming the central and core role of farmers' associations at all levels in the development of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers. This includes promoting the leading and central role of farmers in the development of agriculture, rural economy , and the construction of new rural areas.
INNOVATION IN PROPAGANDA WORK
During the 2023-2025 period, the propaganda work of the Farmers' Association at all levels was emphasized with many innovations, especially the application of information technology and digital transformation. Propaganda content was oriented monthly and quarterly, closely following the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and emulation movements. The entire province organized over 23,700 propaganda sessions, attracting nearly 839,700 participants in various lively formats. These propaganda activities contributed to raising farmers' awareness; strengthening their trust in the association; and enhancing their consensus and participation in emulation movements. Farmers proactively studied and applied science and technology, boldly innovated production models, improved their awareness of law compliance, and actively participated in the collective economy and the construction of new rural areas.

Farmers' associations at all levels have focused on grassroots activities, closely monitoring members and emphasizing the innovation of branch and group activities. New activity models such as thematic discussions, Zalo group activities, professional branch and group activities, field workshops, and study tours have been effectively implemented. Propaganda work has been digitized through social media platforms such as Facebook, fanpages, Zalo, YouTube, TikTok, the Vietnam Farmers' Digital Platform, and electronic information websites. Many models such as the Club of Excellent Farmers in Production and Business, the Club of Farmers and the Law, the Club of Agricultural Science and Technology, and the Club of Millionaire Farmers have attracted, gathered, and conveyed positive messages to members and farmers, contributing to the successful implementation of the association's emulation movements.
The association has organized many service and support activities for farmers, such as: providing capital support, coordinating the supply of fertilizers, seedlings, science and technology, vocational training, job placement counseling, brand building, and connecting supply and demand. It also organizes trade fairs to promote, introduce, and sell products, and honor outstanding agricultural products...
In particular, the Farmers' Association at all levels regularly promotes activities to develop the capital of the Farmers' Support Fund and improve the efficiency of using loan capital. As of November 2025, the total capital of the Provincial Farmers' Support Fund reached nearly 311.6 billion VND. Of which, outstanding loans reached nearly 259 billion VND, disbursed to nearly 6,000 households and nearly 1,300 group-of-household projects.
Over the years, the capital from the Farmers' Support Fund has always been used for its intended purpose, bringing high efficiency to members and farmers. Ms. Le Thi No (residing in Song Ray commune) shared: “In previous years, the sharp drop in pepper prices caused many difficulties for farmers. My family and many other farming households in the locality borrowed capital from the Farmers' Support Fund to invest in an automatic irrigation system as well as purchase supplies to care for and maintain our pepper gardens during the period of losses. In addition to access to capital, the Farmers' Association also supports members in participating in many training courses to improve their scientific and technical knowledge and learn more good experiences in production. Thanks to this, the borrowed capital is used effectively and for the right purpose.”
Dong Nai currently has over 30,800 farmers who have been supported in creating accounts on e-commerce platforms. More than 331 agricultural products from the province have been updated and introduced on reputable platforms such as Postmart, Lazada, Tiki, Shopee, and ecdn.vn.
Regarding his visit to Dong Nai in 2024, Phan Nhu Nguyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, assessed that the Farmers' Associations at all levels in Dong Nai province have many creative and dedicated approaches, contributing to further affirming the role and position of the association; and making more positive contributions to socio-economic development in the locality. In particular, in social welfare work, the provincial Farmers' Association has mobilized a large amount of capital to support farmers in difficult circumstances; and effectively implemented the new rural development program.
SUPPORTING FARMERS IN AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT
During the period 2023-2025, the entire province admitted nearly 10,300 new members, contributing to raising the total number of Farmers' Association members to nearly 193,000. Not only focusing on quantitative growth, the Farmers' Associations at all levels have also worked alongside and promoted the leading and central role of farmers in agricultural and rural economic development.
Farmers' associations at all levels are constantly innovating their methods of operation through the establishment of professional branches and groups. Many models of professional branches and groups have shifted from small-scale, individual production methods to group linkages, attracting more and more farmers to participate...
Farmers' associations at all levels have strengthened coordination in organizing in-depth training courses and applying high technology; transferring science and technology to farmers with over 9,200 members participating. In addition, the province organized 150 training courses and field workshops for nearly 3,500 participants; and held 105 conferences to disseminate and provide knowledge on digital transformation in agriculture for nearly 12,600 officials and members. Notably, the province organized 11 training courses on skills for bringing products to e-commerce platforms and livestreaming sales skills for 1,100 farmers. 2,200 successful farmers and business owners received training and advanced skills in production and business. Many of these successful farmers and business owners have become directors of agricultural cooperatives and enterprises.
Every year, the Provincial Farmers' Association, in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Agriculture and Environment, organizes the Dong Nai Province Excellent Farmers' Competition for Applying Scientific and Technological Advancements to Agricultural Production. During the period 2023-2025, the province will have 45 awards for outstanding farmers in applying scientific and technological advancements.
In particular, promoting and selling agricultural products and goods for farmers is one of the key tasks that farmers' associations at all levels have strongly implemented. The provincial farmers' association has chaired the organization of trade fairs and applied e-commerce, organized livestreaming to promote agricultural products, and organized the signing of memoranda of cooperation on product consumption between production enterprises, cooperatives and distribution systems…
According to Nguyen Huu Nguyen, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, and Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association: In the context of deep integration and globalization, the application of digital technology, high technology, and smart technology is not only an inevitable trend but also a vital requirement for Dong Nai's agricultural sector to increase productivity, improve product quality, and overcome strict trade barriers. The Farmers' Association places great emphasis on promoting the dissemination of effective digital technology application models to successful farming households, cooperatives, and agricultural production groups and cooperatives in the province. The association at all levels also focuses on strengthening connections and supporting core cadres, members, and farmers to participate in learning and exchanging experiences on digital transformation in agriculture; digital platforms in production management and traceability; and digital transformation solutions to improve the operational efficiency of agricultural enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments in the agricultural sector.
