On August 20, 2025, the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province issued Decision No. 443/QD-UBND on allowing the renaming of Nam Dinh Culinary Culture Association to Ninh Binh Culinary Culture Association.

After its establishment, the association has organized and coordinated with agencies and units with the function of organizing research activities, scientific seminars, organizing culinary cultural events, exchanging experiences, in order to strengthen the protection and promotion of culinary cultural values; participating in advising the government on developing culinary culture development strategies; participating in developing standards and benchmarks for food businesses, production and processing establishments, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

To date, the association has 121 members, mainly operating in the fields of production, processing and trading of traditional cuisine .

The Executive Committee of the Ninh Binh Province Culinary Culture Association for the 2025-2030 term was introduced at the congress.

Over the years, along with the development of the country, Ninh Binh people have brought their hometown's culinary products to provinces, cities, urban areas, and industrial zones across the country, creating famous culinary brands. Typical examples include: Nam Dinh beef noodle soup, Giao Thuy spring rolls, Kenh village rice rolls, mountain goat, Vu Dai village braised fish, Phu Ly rice rolls...

These culinary cultural quintessence have developed and brought jobs and income to thousands of households, contributing to the socio-economic development picture of the locality and the whole country. Ninh Binh culinary culture has reached out to the world, attracting international tourists to pay attention, learn about and raise issues of investment and expansion.

Ms. Le Thi Thiet was elected President of Ninh Binh Culinary Culture Association.

At the congress, delegates discussed directions and solutions to turn Ninh Binh cuisine into a typical brand of the Red River Delta, actively contributing to the development of tourism and local socio-economy.

The focus is on preserving the distinctive flavor through self-sufficiency in clean raw materials; investing in science and technology in processing to meet food safety standards and regulations; digitizing management, production and communication processes to promote and bring products closer to consumers and internationally; closely linking culinary culture development with tourism.

In the immediate future, we will focus on researching the province's OCOP products, as well as typical culinary specialties, to introduce them to the public inside and outside the province, in order to contribute to preserving national cultural heritage, promoting tourism development, and developing the local socio-economy.

At the congress, delegates focused on contributing ideas to amend and supplement the Association Charter; electing the Association Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term consisting of 30 members, and the Inspection Committee consisting of 3 members. Ms. Le Thi Thiet was elected as President of the Ninh Binh Culinary Culture Association for the 2025-2030 term.
