Attending the Congress were Major General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Hoang Kien, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition Association; representatives of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Military Command, departments, branches and 180 delegates who are typical cadres and members.
After the merger, the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Traditional Association of Lam Dong province has 3,800 members.
In the 2020-2025 term, promoting the heroic tradition, solidarity and loyalty of Truong Son soldiers, the Association at all levels has proactively and actively participated in patriotic emulation movements; done a good job of taking care of members and educating the younger generation on patriotic and revolutionary traditions.

During the past term, the Association at all levels visited and supported more than 450 sick members with over 135 million VND, giving 320 gifts worth over 160 million VND on holidays and Tet.
The Association also mobilized to build and donate 3 “Truong Son Affection” houses with a total cost of 280 million VND. The Women’s Working Committee maintained many activities to connect and improve the spiritual life of female members.
The Association also organizes trips to the source, participates in collecting documents and recording battlefield memoirs; coordinates with localities and schools to organize traditional talks, contributing to spreading historical values and fostering patriotism for the younger generation.
For the 2025-2030 term, the Association sets out four key tasks, including focusing on strengthening the Association's organization; actively responding to patriotic emulation movements and campaigns; caring for the material and spiritual life of members; and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members.
Speaking at the Congress, Major General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Hoang Kien acknowledged the Association's efforts in stabilizing the organization and effectively implementing activities after the merger.
At the same time, Major General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Hoang Kien requested that all levels of the Association continue to unite, innovate and improve the quality of activities in accordance with the set principles and goals.
With the spirit of democracy and responsibility, the Congress elected 36 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition Association of Lam Dong province for the 2025 - 2030 term; elected 11 comrades to the Standing Committee; elected 1 comrade as Chairman and 2 Vice Chairmen of the Association.
Mr. Dinh Huy Thu, former Chairman of the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition Association of Lam Dong province (old) was trusted to hold the position of Chairman of the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition Association of Lam Dong province.
On this occasion, 1 collective and 10 individuals of the Association were honored to receive certificates of merit from the Central Association of Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Traditions of Vietnam for their outstanding achievements in building the organization and activities of the Association.
