Prenn Pass temporarily reopens to traffic from December 5-7

Lam Dong Province Department of Construction has just issued a notice on temporarily allowing people and vehicles (except trucks) to circulate again on Prenn Pass, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat for 3 days, from December 5, 2025 to December 7, 2025.

Accordingly, specific traffic hours are as follows: December 5: From 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; December 6 - 7: From 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

In addition to the above time frames, people continue to move according to the traffic diversion plan specified in Notice No. 474/TB-SXD dated December 4, 2025, serving the handling of slope landslides and cutting down trees at risk of falling, causing traffic safety hazards.

Due to the complicated developments of the storm and the ongoing repairs on the mountain pass, the Department of Construction recommends that people: Carefully observe the current state of the road surface, promptly handle or report to the authorities when there is an incident. Move slowly, fully comply with the sign system and traffic instructions in the construction areas.

The Department of Construction requested the Provincial Traffic Police Department and the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat to arrange regular patrol and control forces to ensure safe and smooth traffic during the temporary traffic period.

Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 is required to direct the construction unit to inspect and install the signaling system according to the construction plan and organize forces to guide traffic flow at the site.
