O Lam Commune Party Committee and Government dialogue with the People

On December 5, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of O Lam commune (An Giang province) coordinated with the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune to organize a dialogue conference between the heads of Party committees and authorities with the people in 2025. Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of O Lam commune Mai Thi The; Chairman of the People's Committee of O Lam commune Phan Thanh Luong chaired.

At the dialogue, people raised opinions and recommendations related to the development planning of O Lam commune, the digital transformation roadmap in the coming time; solutions to develop tourism potential, especially effectively exploiting national historical relic sites and traditional Khmer culture to attract tourists; and increasing support for preferential credit loans to develop livelihoods.

Besides, people recommend that the commune government pay attention to building a production linkage model to reduce costs and increase profits; soon complete the dyke lines to expand the production area for the third crop.

The opinions and recommendations of the people were answered by the Party Committee and the government of O Lam commune. At the same time, opinions beyond their authority were recorded and accepted to synthesize and submit to the relevant agencies for consideration and resolution.
