Immediately after the merger, the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the commune quickly stabilized the organizational structure and clearly assigned tasks. The unity and cohesion throughout the entire political system helped Tan Tien overcome the transitional period, creating momentum for a new development journey.

Many encouraging results

Tan Tien commune was established by merging the communes of Tan Thanh and Tan Tien in Bu Dop district and Loc An in Loc Ninh district of the former Binh Phuoc province.

In the first 11 months of 2025, the economy of the newly established Tan Tien commune continued to maintain stability in many areas. Specifically, budget revenue reached over 82% of the projected target. Industry and trade continued to grow; the value of industrial and handicraft production reached 256 billion VND, an increase of over 10%; and trade and services reached 268 billion VND, an increase of nearly 10% compared to the same period in 2024.

In addition, basic construction, land management, environmental protection, and disaster prevention have been implemented synchronously, contributing to maintaining socio-economic stability.

Notably, agricultural production achieved positive results with over 8,700 hectares planted; people actively changed their mindset, applied techniques, and switched to crops suitable for the soil and climate. Livestock farming was safe and free from disease outbreaks.

Tan Tien is aiming to implement clean agricultural models, apply high technology, produce organically, and form specialized farming areas; promote traceability, build brands for key agricultural products; develop value chains and linkages between agriculture, industry, and services, associated with building new rural areas.

As one of the units pursuing sustainable production, the PN Binh Phuoc Cordyceps Mushroom Cooperative, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Tien, shared: “We consider quality to be the key factor. Our products are produced according to a strict process, with tight control from the strain to processing. In the future, the cooperative will promote automation and digitalization of processes, research and improve strains, diversify products, and apply freeze-drying technology… aiming to expand scale, participate in the OCOP (One Commune One Product) program, and develop the brand in potential markets.”

Promoting digital transformation and emulation movements.

Over the past period, the Public Administrative Service Center of Tan Tien commune has implemented measures to increase the rate of digitization of documents, online public services, and electronic payments. Currently, the unit handles 397 administrative procedures, of which 128 are carried out entirely online. The rate of online processing of documents reached 96.79%. The rate of timely and early resolution reached 99.44%.

Expressing satisfaction with his experience in carrying out administrative procedures, Mr. Nguyen Quang Phuong (residing in Tan Thuan hamlet) commented: “The One-Stop Service Department of Tan Tien commune works responsibly and provides clear guidance. Procedures are resolved quickly, with most completed within the day, creating satisfaction for the people.”

Recognizing culture as the foundation for sustainable development, Tan Tien commune has vigorously implemented the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" movement. Cultural titles are reviewed according to new criteria in a more serious and substantive manner. To date, the entire commune has achieved 97.7% of households being recognized as "culturally rich," and 100% of hamlets have achieved "culturally rich" status for many consecutive years. Models such as "Learning Family," "Learning Clan," and "Learning Community" are effectively maintained, contributing to raising the intellectual level of the people and preserving the tradition of valuing education.

Simultaneously, the commune continues to invest in infrastructure: roads, lighting, schools, cultural centers, health stations, etc., creating a more modern and attractive appearance for the locality.

Ms. Le Thi Nghia (residing in Tan Hoa hamlet) said: "In recent times, local people have actively participated in emulation movements. Specifically: the Veterans Association of the commune has installed security cameras, the Women's Association and the Farmers' Association of the commune have maintained green roads, the Youth Union of the commune has collected garbage and cleaned the environment... contributing to building a bright, green, clean, and beautiful new rural area."

For the period 2025-2030, Tan Tien commune has identified key priorities: building a strong Party and political system; maintaining stable and sustainable economic growth; and improving the quality and competitiveness of agricultural products. The locality will also focus on effectively utilizing investment resources, promoting digital transformation, administrative reform, harmonious development between economy and culture/social aspects, environmental protection, and ensuring social welfare.

In addition, the commune will improve the quality of cultural titles, build and develop the people of Tan Tien with "knowledge - responsibility - compassion," link cultural movements with digital transformation and the construction of model new rural areas; and replicate exemplary models such as: Model cultural hamlets, Learning and happy families, Residential areas free from social evils, etc.

Leveraging local advantages, Tan Tien commune has set a goal to achieve over 12% of its agricultural land in clean agricultural production by 2030, with organic production accounting for over 3%. The commune also aims to develop 5 products certified under the OCOP program and establish 2 designated fruit-growing area codes. To achieve this, the commune has outlined specific solutions and roadmaps for each stage, developing agriculture in a harmonious way that combines economic development with environmental protection and the preservation of the rural ecosystem.

The journey of rebuilding Tan Tien after the merger is a testament to the spirit of unity, effort, and aspiration for progress of the government and people. With the achievements made, Tan Tien is gradually affirming its position as a stable, civilized, and compassionate commune.
