In his opening remarks at the conference, the Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi People Magazine, journalist Vuong Minh Hue, stated: Throughout the development of the capital city, artists and writers have been pioneers on the ideological and creative fronts, contributing significantly to preserving and promoting cultural identity, shaping aesthetics, and nurturing the human spirit. Today, facing the new demands of building and developing the capital, artists and writers must further enhance their political awareness, sense of civic and social responsibility, and professional competence, becoming a leading force in building an advanced culture rich in national identity, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, and truthfully and vividly reflecting the pulse of Hanoi life.
In the context of the city's goal of developing the cultural industry into a key economic sector, artists and writers need to proactively adapt to new creative trends, combining art and technology, tradition and modernity, and local elements with global appeal. They are not only creators but also value makers, inspiring innovation within the capital's cultural and artistic ecosystem.

Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi People Magazine, journalist Vuong Minh Hue, delivered the opening remarks at the conference.
"Therefore, today's conference is an opportunity for leaders, managers, researchers, and artists in the capital to exchange ideas, contribute suggestions, and clarify the roles, responsibilities, and solutions to unleash the creative potential of artists in successfully achieving the goals set forth in the Resolution of the 18th Congress of the Hanoi City Party Committee. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to review and assess the role of artists in the process of building and developing Hanoi's culture, arousing pride, a sense of responsibility, and the creative aspirations of artists in the new era. Every opinion and every presentation at the seminar will contribute to clarifying the path to making culture truly a pillar of development, a soft power in the development of the capital," said journalist Vuong Minh Hue.
At the conference, delegates, managers, experts, and artists focused on clarifying key issues such as: gaining a deeper understanding of the role and position of artists in the development of the capital city; assessing the current state of Hanoi's literary and artistic life; and proposing solutions, mechanisms, and policies to create favorable conditions for the sustainable development of Hanoi's literature and art, maximizing the intellectual resources, creativity, and dedication of artists.

Journalist Ho Quang Loi – Vice President of the Vietnam Digital Media Association, former Standing Committee Member and Head of the Propaganda Department of the Hanoi City Party Committee, and former Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association – shared his insights at the conference.
Speaking at the conference, journalist Ho Quang Loi – Vice President of the Vietnam Digital Media Association, former Standing Committee Member and Head of the Propaganda Department of the Hanoi City Party Committee, and former Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association – affirmed: "Building culture is building people. The ultimate goal of culture is people. The development and perfection of people can only be achieved within and through culture. Throughout history, Thang Long - Hanoi has been a land with a special attraction for literature and art, and it is literature and art that have contributed to the brilliance and radiance of the 1000-year-old civilization. Hanoi currently has a large and powerful team of intellectuals and artists, full of potential and enthusiasm to contribute their talents and knowledge."
Therefore, to contribute to beautifying and enriching Hanoi's culture, journalist Ho Quang Loi believes that the capital's artists and writers need to play a more active role in the field of literature and art. Poems, short stories, novels, plays, dances, songs, paintings, etc., will have value and a powerful impact on the public, influencing their awareness, thoughts, and lifestyles. Their influence will be deeper than superficial slogans and empty rhetoric.

Former Chairman of the Hanoi Union of Literature and Arts Associations, poet Bang Viet, shared his thoughts at the seminar.
According to Bang Viet, former Chairman of the Hanoi Union of Literature and Arts, artists and writers must have a fresh, bold, and decisive action plan to achieve results of significant scale and quality.
"From Hoa Minzy's 'Bac Bling' music video reaching millions of views; the song 'Phu Dong Thien Vuong' set to a đoạn of Nguyen Duy's poem 'Vietnamese Bamboo,' meticulously arranged and successfully performed by singer Duc Phuc at this year's Intervision music competition in Moscow; to the explosion of two war films, 'The Tunnel - The Sun in the Darkness' and 'Red Rain,' which brought in record-breaking revenue, we conclude that: 'we must cultivate a higher level of creativity, surpassing previous requirements, so that the creative capacity of artists and writers is officially recognized at the continental and international levels' - said poet Bang Viet."
