Luc Hon commune is a border commune of Quang Ninh province, established after merging Luc Hon and Hoanh Mo communes of the old Binh Lieu district with an area of ​​107.13km2, population of 9,569 people, of which 98.72% are ethnic minorities.

Cao Thang terraced fields, a provincial scenic spot, spread across villages, are the result of traditional farming and at the same time an attractive tourism resource.

Terraced fields are associated with the new rice festival in the 10th lunar month, a spiritual ritual of the Tay people.

Vast fields run along the mountain slopes and along Highway 18C.

Mr. Vi Tien Vuong, Chairman of Luc Hon Commune People's Committee, said that the Golden Season Festival 2025 will officially open on October 25 at Luc Na communal house, opening a series of tourism activities this fall - winter. The event is considered an important highlight in the locality's 2025 tourism development plan.

This year's Golden Season Festival is held in the context of Luc Hon terraced fields entering the golden ripe rice season, creating a beautiful natural picture that attracts tourists.

Within the framework of the Festival, Luc Hon commune will organize a series of rich cultural and tourism experiences such as sightseeing, taking photos and experiencing rice harvesting on terraced fields, checking in Khe O five-color flower road, attending the Tay people's New Rice Celebration - a ceremony to honor the harvest season, the paragliding program "Flying over the golden season" to see the whole valley from above, a trekking journey to conquer Cao Xiem peak, along with a space to display OCOP products, specialties, highland cuisine...

Tourists can also join the community tour "Stay in the village - eat with the people - work with the same profession", experience making cellophane noodles, growing canola flowers, learning bamboo dance and cooking traditional dishes of the people.

Taking place in the middle of the ripe rice season, the 2025 Golden Season Festival in Luc Hon is not only a festival for ethnic minorities but also an opportunity for tourists to explore the beautiful border region.
