Lam Dong: Continue to ban vehicles from passing through Prenn Pass from 11am to 5pm on December 8

On the morning of December 8, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province announced that it would ban people and vehicles from traveling on the Prenn Pass (gateway to Da Lat) from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on December 8 to organize the felling of trees at risk of falling.

Outside the above time frame, people and vehicles (except trucks) are allowed to circulate again on Prenn Pass (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong Province).

According to the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province, the current situation of rain and storms is complicated in the province, at the same time, construction units are continuing to repair and overcome the route, people and vehicles should pay attention, limit traffic through the Prenn pass section when there is heavy rain, at night, limited visibility (fog).

At the same time, people are advised to pay attention to the current status of the route to promptly handle any incidents that may occur, proactively drive slowly, comply with traffic signs and traffic diversion plans in areas where construction and repairs are being carried out on the route.

Previously, SGGP Newspaper reported that on December 5, Prenn Pass was temporarily diverted to allow vehicles to pass through Prenn Pass after a serious landslide.
