Normal traffic on Prenn Pass, Sacom

Prolonged heavy rain caused trees from the slope to fall onto Prenn and Sacom passes (Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong). This has been basically cleared up, and traffic is running normally on the morning of December 4.

Vehicles were instructed to move slowly through some small landslides on Prenn Pass at 9am this morning.

On the morning of December 4, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tiep, Head of the Traffic Police Department, Lam Dong Police, said that from this morning, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat coordinated with functional agencies to cut down fallen trees on Prenn Pass and Sa Com Pass, ensuring normal traffic flow.

However, for small landslides on Prenn Pass, the Provincial Traffic Police force was present to guide vehicles to move slowly through the landslides, so traffic was basically not interrupted.

Traffic police at the foot of Mimosa Pass guide vehicles moving to Da Lat in the direction of Sacom and Prenn Passes.

Mimosa Pass alone has a landslide with a large amount of rock and soil right at the old landslide location. Authorities are mobilizing people and vehicles to handle the scene. Currently, vehicles cannot travel in both directions.

Vehicles going up and down Da Lat are all on duty by authorities, temporarily guiding traffic on Prenn and Sacom passes.

Previously, on the evening of December 3 and early morning of December 4, Da Lat and many places in Lam Dong province experienced prolonged heavy rain. The D'ran, Gia Bac, and Mimosa passes suffered landslides in many places, disrupting traffic.
