Two trucks collided, causing local congestion on Chuoi Pass

On the evening of December 4, traffic on National Highway 20 through Chuoi Pass (Da Huoai Commune, Lam Dong) was partially congested after a strong collision between two trucks.

The scene of the accident caused local traffic congestion.

Initial information, at around 6pm on the same day, truck with license plate 49H-044… was traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat, when entering the Chuoi Pass area, it suddenly crossed over to the left side of the road. At this time, truck with license plate 51B-… was traveling in the opposite direction, leading to a head-on collision.

The collision was so strong that the two cars stuck together, the cabin and many body parts were deformed. The two drivers only suffered minor injuries but were helped out of the cabin by the authorities for a health check.

The incident caused traffic congestion on Highway 20. Many vehicles had to stop for a long time due to the narrow road surface and difficulty in clearing the scene.

Upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police, Lam Dong Police in coordination with Da Huoai Commune Police quickly arrived at the scene to direct and regulate traffic; at the same time, organized an investigation of the scene and verified the cause of the incident.
