Quoc Viet regrets the missed opportunity against U.23 Laos

Speaking to the press before the training session on the afternoon of December 4, striker Nguyen Quoc Viet said that the entire U.23 Vietnam team is in good spirits. Everyone is confident that they will compete successfully and win all 3 points against U.23 Malaysia.

Ninh Binh FC's striker expressed: "I think yesterday all the players played well against U.23 Laos. The U.23 Vietnam team had many opportunities but could not take advantage of them. I think in the second match the whole team will try to improve and score many goals.

It's a bit of a pity that the team couldn't score many goals. After the match, coach Kim Sang-sik encouraged the team that the first match was very difficult, so getting 3 points is very good."

Also during the talk at the stadium of RBAC University, the young striker born in 2003 also reported good news about midfielder Xuan Bac's injury as well as the situation surrounding Dinh Bac's second goal against U.23 Laos.

"After Dinh Bac's goal, because there was no VAR, the players protested against the referee, and we didn't think the referee would change his decision. As for Xuan Bac, I think he will recover from his injury in about 2-3 days.

In the group stage of SEA Games 33, the U.23 Vietnam team played at 4 p.m. in Bangkok, but the weather was cooler than in Vietnam, not too hot. All the U.23 Vietnam players on the field tried their best and so did I.
