U.23 Vietnam 'drying rice' in the harsh sun, Coach Kim is in a very stable mood: Will beat Malaysia, no way back

The U.23 Vietnam team is in good spirits and is practicing enthusiastically even though they have to move the practice time up earlier, when it is still very sunny.

Why did U.23 Vietnam change their training 'time zone'?

On the afternoon of December 4, at the RBAC Stadium training ground, the U.23 Vietnam team continued to practice, looking forward to the match against Malaysia on December 11. But today, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team started training at 3:00 p.m., when the weather in Bangkok was still relatively hot, around 33 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, in previous training sessions, the U.23 Vietnam team practiced at 5:00 p.m. It is very possible that the Korean coach wanted his students to get used to this time frame to play better in the upcoming match against Malaysia, which will take place at 4:00 p.m.

The main players only practiced lightly and were in good spirits, as shown by the bright smiles of Dinh Bac and Trung Kien.

In this training session, coach Kim Sang-sik gave the starting group, who played a lot in the 2-1 victory over Laos on December 3, a break to rest and recover. The remaining group continued to practice as usual. Only Xuan Bac, the player who was injured and had to leave the field in the first half, was allowed to stay at the hotel to work out at the gym to recover.

Although the 2-1 victory over Laos did not really satisfy the U.23 Vietnam team, the players showed that they had put this match behind them and were looking forward to the upcoming important confrontation. Van Khang and his teammates appeared happy, relaxed and equally serious and determined. Coach Kim Sang-sik himself was also in a good mood. He played football and joked with his players, adding laughter to the training ground.

The U.23 Vietnam team will face Malaysia at 4 p.m. on December 11 at Rajamangala Stadium. Before that, coach Kim Sang-sik and his staff will come to the stadium to watch the match between Malaysia and Laos, which will take place at 4 p.m. on December 6. If they win the match against Malaysia, the chance of U.23 Vietnam entering the semi-finals will be wide open.
