International cruise ship brings more than 2,500 tourists to Ho Chi Minh City

On December 4, the Celebrity Solstice ship carrying more than 2,500 international passengers safely docked at Thi Vai Port (Phu My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), starting its journey of sightseeing, discovery and experience in Vietnam. Saigontourist Travel Service Company welcomed and provided sightseeing services for tourists on board.

In 2025, this ship has brought international tourists to visit and experience Vietnam many times. This is also the international passenger ship that "entered" Ho Chi Minh City right after the Lunar New Year in 2025; and the most recent time it brought international tourists to Ho Chi Minh City was in mid-November.

After completing immigration procedures, tourists leave the ship and split into many groups to join the journey to explore the central area of Ho Chi Minh City; the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau ) and some other localities during the day.

Tourists can choose some sightseeing routes such as Vung Tau tour with famous destinations such as Christ Statue, Nirvana Monastery, Thang Tam Temple, Bach Dinh... or countryside tour to experience some villages of handmade rice paper, wine making, Hoa Long market, Long Dien ancient house to experience in a day.

At around 8pm, the Celebrity Solstice will take tourists from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue , then continue to Ha Long for international tourists to visit and experience before ending the journey in Hong Kong (China). Before that, the ship departed from Singapore, taking tourists to Thailand for sightseeing before stopping in Vietnam.
