The Defense Command of Region 5 - Phan Thiet (under the Military Command of Lam Dong province) said that the unit has just mobilized officers, soldiers and vehicles of the unit to quickly move the pregnant woman safely out of the flooded area.

According to the Defense Command of Region 5 - Phan Thiet, during the heavy rains that lasted on December 3 and 4, 2025, many areas of Ham Liem commune (Lam Dong province) were deeply flooded, causing local traffic disruption. In Hoi Nhon village, floodwaters rose rapidly, making it difficult for people to travel. At around 8:30 a.m. on December 4, they received a report about Ms. Thanh Thao in Hoi Nhon, a mother who had just given birth to twins less than a week ago, who was trapped in the floodwaters and needed to be moved to a safe place for immediate medical care.

The mother and her three children, Thao, were taken to the Commune Health Station for timely health care.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Command mobilized officers, soldiers and vehicles of the unit to approach the scene. The task force quickly put the pregnant woman Thao on a specialized vehicle and moved her safely out of the flooded area. Thanks to timely handling, the pregnant woman was safely taken to Ham Liem Commune Health Station and continued to receive health care according to professional requirements. Thanh Thao's family expressed their emotions and sent their deep thanks to the officers and soldiers who did not fear danger to provide timely support in the urgent time.
