According to the Vietnamese Student Association in Korea (VSAK), this unit recently organized the 11th Conference of Young Vietnamese Scientists in Korea (ACVYS 2025). The program took place at Yonsei University (Seoul, Korea) under the auspices of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea and the Ministry of Science and Technology, attracting nearly 500 participants to promote exchange, cooperation, and knowledge sharing among Vietnamese scholars.
The event also held the award ceremony for "Outstanding Young Vietnamese Scientists in Korea". This title honors individuals with outstanding research achievements, awarded to Dr. Nguyen Quang Khanh, majoring in new material technology at Hanyang University; Dr. Nguyen Duc Anh, majoring in information technology, digital transformation and automation at Korea University of Science and Technology; Dr. Bui Van Duc, majoring in environmental technology at Soongsil University.
"These young scientists have many practical research projects, contributing to enhancing the image of the Vietnamese intellectual community in Korea as well as affirming the capacity of Vietnamese people in the field of international science and technology," VSAK informed.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Vu Ho, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Korea, shared that he understands the hardships and difficulties of Vietnamese students when they first arrive in Korea and encouraged them to see this as an opportunity to learn and develop.
"I believe that ACVYS will continue to be a beacon of knowledge, guiding and empowering the next generation of researchers, so that we can continue to contribute to the common development of Vietnam and Korea," Ambassador Vu Ho said. Meanwhile, VSAK President Nguyen Tran Hung believes that the conference "affirms the vitality and strong development of an international academic forum."

This is not only an academic forum but also a bridge between young Vietnamese intellectuals and Korean organizations, businesses, and scientific institutions.
