17 houses completely collapsed due to storms and floods have been rebuilt.

(GLO)- Information from the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command said: By the afternoon of December 4, the forces and vehicles of the Provincial Military Command had deployed to support 17 families whose houses were completely collapsed due to storms and floods to rebuild new houses.

After the launching ceremony on December 1, the Provincial Military Command completed the survey of 41 families whose houses were completely collapsed due to storms and floods. Immediately after that, the forces and vehicles of the Provincial Military Command deployed to support 13 families to rebuild new houses.

On December 4, four more families started building new houses with the support of the army.

To carry out the “Quang Trung Campaign” launched by the Prime Minister , the Provincial Military Command established 20 teams of workers; the Provincial Border Guard Command established 4 teams of workers. Each team has 10-15 officers and soldiers; 3-5 highly skilled construction workers are arranged.

In addition, the Provincial Military Command also mobilized dozens of vehicles such as tankers, Kamaz trucks, excavators, etc. to serve the mission. Corps 34 and Naval Region 3 completed the survey in the assigned area and organized troops to support families in Gia Lai province whose houses were completely collapsed due to storms and floods to rebuild new houses.

Military units strive to hand over houses before January 31, 2026 so that people can celebrate Lunar New Year in their new homes.

Directly inspecting the progress of the "Quang Trung Campaign" of military units on the afternoon of December 3, Major General Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy Commander of Military Region 5 requested the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command to concentrate maximum forces and means, closely coordinate with Army Corps 34, Naval Region 3 and localities to speed up the construction progress.
