The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich. Attending were leaders of the following departments: Finance, Culture-Sports and Tourism, Industry and Trade, Construction, Agriculture and Environment, Health, Provincial Police, Provincial Statistics; leaders of Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Dong, Quy Nhon Nam, Quy Nhon Bac wards.
The meeting was connected to the bridge points of Pleiku, Hoi Phu and Dien Hong wards.

The night-time economic development plan is being implemented with the goal of effectively exploiting tourism potential, diversifying tourism products and services to serve tourists; thereby, attracting and increasing the length of stay of tourists; and promoting spending by tourists and local people.
At the same time, it creates jobs and increases income for people, contributes to socio-economic development, creates momentum for other industries to develop together; at the same time, ensures the preservation of a green-clean-beautiful tourism environment, creating momentum for sustainable tourism development.
The plan aims to build Gia Lai into a modern service and industrial province and one of the dynamic and comprehensive development centers of the Central region.
Solutions for developing products and services for the night-time economy focus on the following areas: cultural and artistic performances; shopping; sports, health care, beauty at night; night sightseeing; cuisine, and night-time food and beverage services.
At the meeting, representatives of the wards reported on the local night-time economic development planning situation, including: proposed locations for organizing activities, support mechanisms and policies, and expected business areas to be deployed...
Representatives of departments and branches proposed creating mechanisms and policies on taxes and premises for business establishments; reviewing OCOP products and key agricultural products; developing handicraft and brocade products; building venues for performing arts, martial arts, and plays...
Representatives of localities, departments and branches also discussed and proposed solutions to raise awareness of the benefits of night-time economic activities; promote and advertise night-time economic development; ensure security and order, environmental sanitation, food hygiene and safety and improve service quality.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich requested relevant departments, branches and localities to conduct surveys and propose suitable locations for night-time economic development, in line with the cultural, economic and social characteristics of each region. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on attracting investors; advising on mechanisms and policies to create favorable conditions for night-time economic models to develop sustainably.
2026 is the National Tourism Year, so relevant departments, branches and localities must urgently and proactively prepare, speed up the construction and implementation of plans to develop the night-time economy, contributing to creating highlights to attract tourists.
