Attending the Congress were comrade Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and delegates representing the professional departments of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
On the side of Gia Lai province, attending the Congress were comrades: Thai Dai Ngoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Also attending were leaders of Gia Lai province through the periods; veteran revolutionaries; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces; representatives of Party building committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office; leaders of departments, branches, and organizations; and 300 official delegates representing all walks of life in the province.
The 1st Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025-2030, has the theme: "Enhancing the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province; promoting cultural identity, the strength of great national unity; strongly arousing the will of self-reliance, self-strengthening, the spirit of innovation, creativity, aspiration to contribute, join hands and unite to build Gia Lai into a fairly developed province of the country".
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Ngoc Luong emphasized: The 1st Congress of the Gia Lai Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025-2030 is an important event, a broad political activity, creating a strong change in the awareness and actions of all classes of people, creating a new momentum in the construction and development of the province. Everyone is placing their full trust and great expectations on the important decisions of the Congress.
With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity and Development", the Congress has the task of objectively assessing the situation of the great national unity bloc in the province; substantially assessing the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the period 2024-2025, thereby drawing lessons and proposing an action program of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front for the term 2025-2030 to meet the requirements of innovation, construction and development of Gia Lai province in the new era; responding to the legitimate aspirations and aspirations of all classes of people.
“I respectfully request that the Congress delegates promote their intelligence, experience, sentiment and responsibility to participate in discussions, fully and deeply identify the advantages, difficulties, opportunities and challenges, identify key tasks, with the aim of arousing potential, creativity, promoting all resources; creating social consensus, participating in Party building, building a clean and strong state and political system; consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, improving the material and spiritual life of all classes of people in the province, contributing to the successful implementation of the renovation process, actively building Gia Lai to become more and more prosperous and civilized” - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee suggested.
According to the Congress program, delegates listened to a report assessing the results of implementing the Action Program for the 2024-2025 period; at the same time, discussed and determined the goals, directions, and action program for the 2025-2030 term; contributed comments on the documents of the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term and contributed comments on amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term.
The Congress also heard a report on the results of consultations to elect the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2025-2030 term and positions in the Standing Committee of the first term; and the results of consultations to elect a delegation to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term.
